Angely Dy - About

Hey! I’m Angely, born and raised in the Philippines, where my love for technology started in high school. Then, I became fascinated with how tech works and found a passion for broadcasting and voiceovers (thanks to my English teachers who saw the potential I didn’t even know I had!). Soon after, I got hooked on photography—what started as taking random shots turned into a real hobby.

Fast forward to college, I chose computer science as my degree and discovered my passion for UI/UX design—it was love at first wireframe, and I’ve been hooked ever since. There’s still so much to learn, but I’m just really excited to be on this journey, doing something I love. My goal is to create user interfaces that are accessible to anyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, ensuring that technology can be used by everyone.

When I’m not working, I’m probably out hiking or biking (though I’m no pro, I just enjoy the ride!). I’m also a huge movie buff—romcoms, adventure fantasy, you name it (just not horror!). Growing up on Disney classics fueled my love for films. I also love traveling, discovering new cultures, and trying different foods. And if I’m not watching movies, I might be reading a good non-fiction or self-growth book, though I still prefer a good film!

Last but definitely not least, I’m a Christian, and my faith plays a big role in my life. I’m grateful for all the opportunities and blessings that come my way, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
